We are excited to welcome Ryan Wiser, DPT, to our Endurance Physical Therapy team! As an experienced physical therapist, he is ready to help you achieve your physical therapy goals and get you back to your active life. Learn more about Ryan’s background and what brought him to Endurance:
Ryan Wiser is a Eugene native, attended South Eugene High School, and participated in the track and field and football teams. He then studied at the University of Oregon, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2008. He took his chemistry skills to the wine industry and spent the next few years traveling and working in wineries as far away as New Zealand.
He returned to Oregon in 2011 to pursue a career in Physical Therapy and was accepted into George Fox University’s first Doctor of Physical Therapy program after completing courses and running research in Human Physiology at the UO. While at George Fox, he was in a research group that traveled to Uganda to study barefoot running, and form partnerships with a University and orphanage for disabled children. He moved back to Eugene in 2015, and has been practicing here as a manual therapist ever since.
Ryan chose the profession of PT out of a love for medicine, helping others, and working with his hands. He avidly searches out and applies the latest research in his treatments, and is dedicated to continuing education. In his free time, Ryan enjoys running, hiking, rock climbing, cross-fit, snow-skiing, or simply cooking at home with his wife Veronica, and their two cats.
He’s looking forward to meeting our new and current patients! Contact us today to schedule an appointment.
