We provide a variety of different manual therapy treatments including strain-counterstrain, myofascial release, soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization and traction treatments.
Strain-Counterstrain
A non-invasive and indirect technique used to mobilize joints and decrease shearing forces on the tissue creating a balance for healing.
Myofascial Release
A technique used to release the tissue (fascia) between the muscle groups to decrease friction and/or tethering.
Soft Tissue Mobilization
Massage techniques used to work specific muscle groups related to the treatment region.
Joint Mobilization
Improvement to joint mobility, mechanical function of the joint, and range of motion is created through direct and indirect joint mobilization techniques.
Traction
Traction is a form of manual therapy that decompresses the joint or spine to increase circulation, decrease inflammation, and decrease pain and possible neurological symptoms.
